Image dimensions 26×17.5cm, printed on Somerset Satin, 250gsm, using a combination of multi-block and reduction printing. Framed size (in mount card) would be approx. 45x35cm.
The first of 4 colour lino prints I made for the exhibition ‘Being with Trees’ with the Arborealist group, scheduled to open today, but which is now postponed. In his upwards journey this tree, near Blackfriars Bridge, seems unperturbed by mankind’s efforts to fence everything in.
This is a print in 5 different blocks, one for the sky, two for the tree and two more for the quarter circled metalwork.
